IPAM Essentials (E-Learning)

IPAM Essentials is an introductory e-learning course that gives networking professionals a functional understanding of the Proteus system as it is commonly used. This course is a prerequisite for enrollment in the BAIA accreditation program. The course assumes that attendees have a general understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols, as well as a strong grasp of DNS, DHCP and IPv4 addressing.
Upon completion of this course, students are able to:
- Model and manage the IPv4 and IPv6 address space
- Manage DNS resource records, zones, views and options
- Manage DHCP ranges and options
- Import DNS Data from Windows servers
- Use various features including search and data restore functions
- Personalize the Proteus user interface
