BlueCat Networks Launches Next-Generation Training Services Program to Make it Easy for Customers to Ensure All Administrators Master IPAM, DNS and DHCP
In-person and virtual training options make it simple to adapt IPAM, DNS and DHCP training to fit system administrators’ busy schedules
Toronto, Ontario – July 13, 2010 – BlueCat Networks, the IPAM Intelligence™ company, launches its next-generation Training Services, a graduated training program that makes it easy for customers to ensure all users, from new administrators to senior system administrators, best utilize BlueCat Networks’ market-leading Proteus IP Address Management (IPAM) and Adonis DNS/DHCP solutions to maximize network efficiency.
Offered onsite at customers’ facilities, via innovative, virtual instructor-led programs, as well as at over 125 regional training facilities, Training Services makes it easy for system administrators of all levels to adapt the graduated training program to fit their increasingly-busy schedules. Virtual instructor-led training expands BlueCat Networks’ reach beyond traditional on-site training. Scheduled in half-day sessions, the virtual training was specifically developed to provide administrators with the full instructor-led course experience while minimizing the impact on their daily duties.
The Training Services program is segmented into two distinct programs to meet the requirements of IPAM administrators at all levels. The first program, “IPAM Essentials,” provides networking professionals with a functional understanding of the Proteus IPAM and Adonis DNS/DHCP solutions. Focusing on the daily administration of IPAM, DNS and DHCP, this program is appropriate for administrators responsible for the day-to-day DNS/DHCP/IPAM activities.
Building on the IPAM Essentials program, “IPAM Administration” examines the advanced features and functions of the Proteus IPAM solution, as well as advanced system administration and management activities. This program is appropriate for senior system administrators and system owners.
“Meeting the needs of our customers has always been BlueCat Networks’ number one priority, and the new Training Services program underscores this commitment by making it easy for customers to tailor IPAM, DNS and DHCP training around their administrators’ busy schedules,” said Israel Forst, Vice President, Professional Services, BlueCat Networks. “BlueCat Networks’ innovative IPAM and DNS/DHCP solutions set the benchmark for the industry, and now this equally-innovative program will set the benchmark for IPAM, DNS and DHCP training – making it easier than ever before for our customers to maximize network efficiency and productivity.”
BlueCat Networks’ Proteus IPAM solutions integrate with its own Adonis DNS/DHCP appliances and Microsoft Windows DNS and DHCP to simplify network management by making it easy for administrators to fully integrate IP inventory tracking and allocation, along with DNS and DHCP management. Administrators can design networks with a simple conceptual view, then deploy and manage them across the organization. When managing DNS and DHCP, Proteus becomes “mission control,” offering full command and customization of configurations from a central, secure Web-based interface to make it simple to eliminate all IPAM problems.
