BlueCat Networks Selected to Provide IPAM, DNS and DHCP Services at Interop Las Vegas for Second Consecutive Year

CTO and co-founder to present on the Role of IPAM Intelligence at Interop; CIO Boot Camp

TORONTO, CANADA - March 12, 2008 - BlueCat Networks, the IPAM Intelligence Company™ and Network World’s IPAM Clear Choice Award Winner, today announced that it has been chosen to be the official provider of IPAM, Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) services for Interop’s 2008 events. BlueCat will also demonstrate the latest in IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions as well as host an interactive presentation by CTO and co-founder Richard Hyatt on “Intelligent IP Address Management” at Interop Las Vegas (April 27-May2).

IP-based infrastructures form the cornerstone of today’s high speed voice and data communications networks. In his address, Richard Hyatt will focus on how the latest innovations in centralizing the management of DNS and DHCP services gives IT administrators the necessary network intelligence to reduce operational costs while enhancing network reliability and security. Mr. Hyatt will share his views on this and other relevant business-critical IT issues from 10:15 — 11:00 on Wednesday, April 30.

”Interop is North America’s pre-eminent technology event. We’re proud that the organizers have once again chosen BlueCat’s DNS, DHCP and IP address management solutions. Like all our customers, several hundred exhibitors and tens of thousand of Interop attendees will rely upon BlueCat to deliver the essential services that support their Internet and communication devices while at the show,” said Richard Hyatt, CTO and co-founder, BlueCat Networks. “As the only vendor completely dedicated to developing and delivering intelligent IPAM platforms and DNS / DHCP appliances, BlueCat’s single-minded focus is turning the heads of enterprise executives around the world. We’re looking forward to meeting both existing and prospective customers at this premier industry event to share success stories and new product developments that all BlueCat customers will benefit from.”

Michael and Richard Hyatt will also be presenting at this year’s CIO Boot Camp. The two-day seminar brings Senior Technology Executives together in an innovative and interactive learning environment that delivers a series of workshops moderated by today’s technology leaders. Topics covered include the economic importance of IT decisions, how to deal with regulatory issues, and best practices for IT management in real-world situations. On Monday, April 28th, the Hyatt brothers will speak to an audience of over 200 IT executives to share their perspective on why “No IP = No Network = No Business”.

BlueCat will showcase its award-winning Proteus IPAM platform and Adonis DNS / DHCP appliances in booth 2119 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. In addition to BlueCat engineering and product management representatives, Professional Services Group (PSG) experts will also be on hand to discuss ‘best practices’ in the design, migration and implementation of core network service solutions.

BlueCat was recently named Network World’s “Clear Choice” Winner for IP Address Management; was recognized by Deloitte as the 18th fastest-growing technology company in Canada and was named 2008 Hot Companies Finalist by Security Info Product Guide.
