Implementation Approach

BlueCat takes a mentoring approach to project implementation. Throughout each phase of the implementation, your team works side by side with BlueCat resources. A typical engagement follows five phases: define, design, develop, deploy and train.

• Define:

  BlueCat consultants work one on one with members of your team to explore the current environment and your requirements for the new system. This results in documented requirements for the new system, definition of the project approach and identification of potential project risks.



• Design:

  BlueCat consultants develop an implementation blue print. This includes modeling potential deployment options, reviewing the proposed solution with technical staff and finalizing the project scope.



• Develop:

• Deploy:

Introduction

The BlueCat Networks Professional Services JumpStart offering was designed to accelerate your deployment of BlueCat’s Networks’ IP Address Management (IPAM) solution. Throughout this engagement, you’ll work with a remote or on-site consultant who will guide you through every step of the process—equipping you with the operational knowledge needed to maintain the solution long term.

Ideal Customer Environment

The JumpStart offering is ideally suited to customers with the following environment:

• Between 100 and 1000 networks


• Between 20 and 100 static zones


• Between 5 and 10 DHCP servers


• 1-2 Active Directory-integrated zone


• Standard DHCP options
