Its products — IT gear that automates the management of IP addresses for corporate networks — tie into corporate Internet infrastructures, including cost-saving technologies such as voice-over-IP telephone systems. CEO Michael Hyatt talks about the Toronto-based firm's successes and challenges.

BlueCat Networks exhibited at IP08 in London on Oct. 1-2nd 2008 launching our Global Channel Partner Program and bringing to market product innovation in IPAM including IP reconciliation, Workflow management and delegation, data restoration and the enforcement of Naming Policies. In addition to have a large physical presence at the conference, BlueCat was invited to present at the conferences featured speaking session. The educational presentation was entitled Intelligent IP Address Management and addressed the recent OECD IPv6 positioning paper where an innovative approach for delivering IPAM for the management of IPv4 and deployment of IPv6 was discussed. The presentation went on to disclosed best practices in methodologies in centralizing control of networks to improve operational efficiencies, enhance security, implement NAC and drive compliance, all while dramatically lowering the TCO.
